About the project
From the moment they realized their power over nature, people sought to understand and change its laws, and sometimes even the usual idea of it. This is how art was born, and this is how fantasy gardens appeared. History knows a huge number of masterpieces of landscape art, ranging from recreated gardens of Semiramis to pop-up gardens that suddenly appear and disappear in unusual locations.
The theme of this garden is a harmonious combination of artificial and natural environments. Where a person has a right angle, geometry, logic, there is an infinite variety of shapes in nature.
This is how we see nature, adding to it a human perception of orderliness. The geometry of rectangular volumes in the project is the human mind. With all the variety of natural forms, the natural environment will never create anything like this.
What are the limits of our interaction with nature? How futile are our attempts to subjugate her by giving her artificial forms? Do we understand the natural logic correctly, repeating it in creativity? The search for answers to these questions led to the formation of architectural and artistic styles of previous eras. This project is devoted to the same issues.
